Editorial Independence

Editorial decisions are made independently by the Editor-in-Chief and designated editors based on scholarly merit, reviewer feedback, ethical standards, and relevance to the journal’s scope.

Editorial decisions are not influenced by commercial or organizational interests.

Editorial Responsibilities

Editors are responsible for:

Conducting initial assessment of submitted manuscripts
Ensuring alignment with the journal’s aims and scope
Assigning manuscripts to appropriate independent external reviewers
Overseeing the peer review process
Evaluating reviewer feedback
Making editorial recommendations and decisions
Maintaining the academic quality and integrity of the journal

Editorial Workflow

Editors oversee the manuscript workflow through the journal submission system, in coordination with the Editorial Office, including:

Initial Screening
Manuscripts are reviewed for scope, quality, and basic requirements by the editorial team.
Reviewer Assignment
Editors assign manuscripts to appropriate independent external reviewers based on expertise.
Peer Review Process
Manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review.
Evaluation and Decision
Editors assess reviewer reports and make decisions (accept, revise, reject).
Communication
Communication with authors and reviewers is coordinated by the Editorial Office (Editorial Manager) under the guidance of the Editor-in-Chief and Co-Editors.

Peer Review Oversight

Editors ensure that:

All research manuscripts undergo independent external peer review
Reviewers are selected based on relevant expertise
The review process is fair, objective, and timely
Reviewer feedback is properly considered in decision-making

Ethical Responsibilities

Editors are expected to:

Uphold publication ethics and academic integrity
Handle conflicts of interest appropriately
Ensure ethical compliance in submitted work
Address ethical concerns in accordance with journal policies
Follow internationally recognized guidelines, including those of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics)

Conflicts Of Interest

Editors must:

Declare any conflicts of interest
Recuse themselves from handling manuscripts where conflicts exist
Ensure unbiased editorial decisions

Confidentiality

Editors must:

Maintain confidentiality of submitted manuscripts
Not disclose information to unauthorized parties
Not use unpublished material for personal advantage

Decision-making
