CAET Appoints Professor Vivien Speiser as Editor-in-Chief

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Professor Vivien Speiser as Editor-in-Chief of Creative Arts in Education and Therapy – Eastern and Western Perspectives (CAET).

This appointment follows careful discussion within the leadership team and reflects both the journal’s ongoing development needs and Professor Speiser’s outstanding contributions to CAET over time. Professor Speiser has devoted a significant amount of professional expertise, vision, and sustained effort to the journal’s editorial work, academic positioning, and international engagement. Her commitment and leadership have played a crucial role in strengthening CAET’s academic quality, visibility, and global dialogue across Eastern and Western perspectives.

Appointing an Editor-in-Chief marks an important step in establishing a clear and robust leadership structure for CAET as it continues to grow as an international, peer-reviewed academic journal. It also reflects CAET’s commitment to recognizing, empowering, and rewarding long-term contributors whose work is essential to the journal’s sustainable development.

Looking ahead, the establishment and gradual transition of leadership roles will be integrated into CAET’s strategic planning, ensuring continuity, academic integrity, and motivation for current and future contributors. This approach aligns with CAET’s broader mission to foster a collaborative, ethical, and sustainable scholarly community in the fields of creative arts education, therapy, and arts in health.

We warmly congratulate Professor Vivien Speiser on her appointment and look forward to working together in this new chapter of CAET’s development.
