However, the author considers this paradigm insufficient to comprehend the intricate dynamics. The emotional and unconscious undercurrents in these interactions remain unexplored. Drawing on a background in dance movement therapy, drama therapy, and psychodrama, the researcher introduced clinical arts therapy tools to address this gap. Focusing on girls and boys, drama emerged as the most fitting method. This article provides a glimpse into a novel model of drama groups developed as part of an extensive year-long research program. It will propose drawing in drama counseling as a new model of integral drama-based pedagogy. The article illustrates the connection of drawing, drama, and counseling. The model was developed by the author using the methods of integral drama-based pedagogy to counsel a Chinese primary school student who was angry about rejection and exclusion by his classmates. The study demonstrates how the student could use drawing paper to become his drama stage and how a student acted out a drama by drawing on that paper stage. The model facilitates the awareness of energy centers and has the transformative potential to foster stability and resilience. The article highlights the efficacy of this model by illuminating customized, chakra-specific movement sequences that include body preparatory activities, movements metaphors, embodiment exercises, expressive movement, voice work, tapping, self-massage, eye movement sequence, visual imagery and art, yoga breathwork, and meditation alongside verbal reflection.
